FBA Newsletter 2-6-19

February 6, 2019

To our new bookkeeper Mrs. Kimberly Witt. She has two children here at the Academy – Brady in kindergarten and Alex in third grade.

We are so happy to have her join our FBA family.

Continue to send in your enrollment forms.  We will have some classes

that will fill quickly.  Enrollment opens to the public

this Friday, February 8th, so don’t delay.

Reminder:  Tuition payments need to be paid separately from Enrollment fees.

Also, if you paid your enrollment fee in thirds then please look at your bill carefully as the amount due will appear more than your monthly tuition because of the other two enrollment fee payments that are due by the end of March and April.

Thank you to all those who submitted your paperwork to request enrollment forms and those who have already officially enrolled.  We want to express to you how much thought goes into preparing the budget each school year, as it directly affects our students, families, and faculty.  While it has been trying financially for our school to adjust to lower enrollment over the past couple of years, we also know it is a sacrifice for many of you to continue to give your children a Christian education.   Therefore, after prayerful consideration, the tuition was only increased by 1.5% this year.  We hope that this offers some financial relief to you with the assurance that we trust God to take care of His school.  Also in an attempt to make it easier for you in determining fees, the gym fee, Praxi fees, and Pre-k supply fees were already rolled into the tuition, so you will not pay those out separately any longer.  It is our prayer that we get to serve all of you again for the 2019-2020 school year.  It is truly our pleasure!

One last thing… Please spread the word to your friends that Open Enrollment for next year begins this Friday, February 8th.  However, if you know anyone ready to make the switch to First Baptist Academy for the remainder of the 2018-2019 school year, we are ready for them too and are waiving the enrollment fee for this school year.
