Rhonda Alm currently serves as the Elementary Principal of First Baptist Academy and Director of FLIGHT the Intervention program. She has been with FBA since 2003 serving as Band Director and Guidance Counselor before transitioning to the current positions.
Rhonda attended Oklahoma State University prior to moving into the Central Texas area, where she transferred and graduated from Texas State University, San Marcos, with a Bachelor of Music Education and a Masters of Education in School Psychology with a minor in Special Education. She also holds certification as a Principal (TEA) and Academic Language Therapist (ALTA) and licensure as a Dyslexia Therapist. She has worked in the field of Education since 1985 in the public, private and collegiate levels.
Her husband Brad works with HEB as the Director of Supply Chain and they both love to travel. Their daughter Kirsten (graduate of FBA) and son-in-law Ryan, live in Fort Worth, Texas where she teaches 5th Grade.
Rhonda’s life verse is Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him”
