Good Morning FBA Family,

Based on the orders given by Mayor Ron Nirenberg (please see below), and other surrounding mayors following suit, our church and school will be closed through April 13, 2020, in keeping with our school calendar. Therefore, the earliest at this point in time where students might be allowed on campus will be April 14, 2020. During the next few weeks, I will continue to monitor all factors associated with COVID-19 and the safety of our students, staff and families coming back to the school. If things should change again, I will let you know as soon as possible.

"This email is to inform you that Mayor Ron Nirenberg and Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff issued separate, but joint Stay Home, Work Safe orders today to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. The order is effective beginning at 11:59 p.m. on March 24, 2020 and if approved by City Council at this Thursday's meeting, will last until 11:59 p.m. on April 9, or until it is either rescinded, superseded, or amended."

I am asking that you all continue to pray, enjoy the blessing of family time and to continue to connect with our Father, giving Him glory, honor and praise for every situation that we endure.

In His Service,

Christine M. Povolish
FBA Head Administrator
